Event industry health insurance

One of the biggest issues with this indusrty is that there is no steady health insurance coverage  for 1099 employees. You are forced to go out and find insurance that you can afford. This is hard because some times work is not steady enough to be able to pay for such coverage. But you have choices. Just because you are a model, Promo brand ambassador or some one working a demo now and then you SHOULD have medical insurance. Its really not expensive. There are so many plans out there that are geared to our work style. I have heard there is coverage for as little as $20 a month.
Do you really need insurance? YES!
Dont wait for till the last min. Actually you cant. Do research and see what you can afford. Im sure there are some resources in your local area that can help. Just google “affordable health insurance” You can also use a site like this: Check out this link for  Affordable Health Insurance. Compare the leading carriers side-by-side. Just fill out the form and at least get some quotes. You’ll be shocked at how much it would really cost for you have a plan. There are all types of plans like HMO, PPO, Dental and Life. Consider them all. If you get sick tomorrw and need to see a doctor will you be able to afford it? First video blog. Lets call it Event Speak. Get it?

Well this is the fist vlog that we created. We plan on putting many of these out. If at all possible even every day. Please leave your comments below and let us know what we should be talking about. There are many conversations to be had from the staff point of view to the client’s expectations. The main reason for this is to educate and build a video resource that will help the Event Promo Marketing industry. From mobile tours to the every day brand ambassador that represents a product at a local shopping store. I look forward into digging deeper in to this wonderfull industy. See ya soon.
