We are looking for a select team of technology savvy and sustainability conscious individuals to work with us as a host/hostess at test-drive events for a new electric vehicle. If you are selected for this job, you will be thoroughly trained on the next generation of electric vehicle technology and the unique advantages that come with owning and driving an electric vehicle today. At our test drive events you will welcome and register people for a test drive, discuss the advantages of the electric vehicle they will driving, riding along with them during the test drive to answer their questions and surveying them for their feedback and interest in follow-up information.

In this job, you’ll be showcasing a new electric vehicle that:
 Comes from an all-electric vehicle company based here in California.
 Utilizes proprietary technology with the most advance battery system in its class.
 Boasts the longest range of any electric vehicle in its class (up to 150 miles).
 Has real sedan styling, comfortably seating five adults with ample trunk space.
 Goes on sale for the first time in California during spring of 2012.

We are actively looking for people to fill the role of Host/Hostess at our test drive events in the greater San Francisco Bay Area during March and April of 2012. People that will be most effective in this position meet the following requirements:

 Early adopter of technology or adept at learning about new technology.
 Enjoy meeting people and sharing knowledge with potential customers.
 Energetic and outgoing personality.
 Enthusiasm for the electric vehicle movement.
 Proficient with Mac and Windows Operating Systems and Hardware.
 Able to explain technology in layman’s terms and engage various audience demographics.
 Sales experience or an affinity for helping/teaching.
 Thrives in fact-paced work environment and has a desire to continually learn.
 Valid driver’s license with an impeccable driving record.
 Previous event marketing and/or test-drive event experience highly preferred.

The position of an Electric Vehicle Test Drive Host/Hostess is a part-time, temporary, contract position with the opportunity for ongoing part or full-time employment in other, similar positions with our company. All selected candidates will be subject to required and random drug screenings. Payment will be based on days worked and will be made via electronic deposit or mailed check every two weeks.
