Looking for a Tour Manager in Buffalo, NY!

Position Summary
Due to continued growth, Go Bee Industries is seeking an experienced Tour Manager to join our team! We are proud to be partnered with a corporate beverage company to launch a Mobile Event Vehicle Tour. Successful candidate will be expected to travel between different locations across USA for a Mobile Event Vehicle Tour featuring a premium beverage brand from May through August.

You must be passionate about event management, people, and media. This position serves as the primary field specialist in charge of flawless execution and quality assurance of the event. The Tour Manager works closely with the client/brand, oversees event, manages promotional staff and documents the event via reporting and pictures.

Responsibilities
• Provides bright, energetic and amazing tour management qualities to lead a promotional mobile event vehicle tour
• Committed to adhere to the tour calendar and time-line
• Responsible for working with the Recruiting team to build a roster of part-time tour ambassadors
• Responsible for attending daily meetings with Project Manager to provide updates regarding successes and challenges
• Effectively train and develop the part-time & full-time tour team
• Responsible for assisting in the preparation and maintaining of tour policies and procedures
• Performs administrative duties, which include: progress reports, photography and video footage, payroll, expenses, etc.
• Deal effectively and cooperatively to help solve any issues pertaining to the tour activation
• Oversee all logistics and maintenance of the mobile event vehicle and all event set materials
• Responsible for inventory management and monitoring stock levels
• Fosters tour environment that focuses on team work
• Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations
• Deal effectively and independently with any concerns raised by staff

Experience
• Post-Secondary diploma/degree in event management, communications, marketing or equivalent experience in event or tour management
• Previous experience managing promotional staff and motivating teams in order to achieve the highest results
• Must be able to travel for full duration of tour (Start date TBD)
• Valid driver’s license with minimum 3 year experience (motor vehicle record required prior to hire)
• Previous experience completing recaps, timecards, taking pictures, submitting expenses and troubleshooting on-site issues
• Leading set-ups, tear-downs and asset maintenance
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Able to work long extended hours
• Up to date Standard First Aid Certificate
• Fluency in Spanish an asset, but not required
• Experience driving a cargo van, RV or straight truck considered an asset
