Retail Associate

The ScottsMiracle-Gro Company is seeking outgoing and enthusiastic sales associates for part-time, in-store retail engagements within Lowe’s and Home Depot stores in the Houston area beginning in March.

If you can answer yes to the following questions we would like to get to know you!
• Are you looking for a part-time weekend opportunity to earn additional income?
• Can you engage customers with an inviting and friendly attitude?
• Are you an active listener that can recommend specific products based on the unique needs of the customer?
• Are you available Friday evenings, Saturday morning and afternoons and Sunday afternoons?

Please note the following requirements:
• Be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check
• Be 21 years of age or older
• Conduct yourself in a professional manner that represents our brand with the highest level of honesty and integrity
• Have reliable transportation to arrive at your assigned retail location on time
• Be energetic and able to approach customers with a smile
• Be able to stand on your feet for extended periods
• Have an internet connection to view a live online training session
• Preferred candidates will have 1 year of event marketing or direct to consumer sales experience

This is a direct hire position. Compensation is $12 per hour plus incentive bonuses.
