They have been a good company so far for me. I understand that it's difficult for them to always get back to each person one at a time, but pay wise they seem to be on the same schedule as most about 30 days.

Hello,
I have worked two jobs with BMT and they are a great company. The pay is well and the company is will work with you if you need to cancel for any reason. Their jobs are legit and the clients are also great people! If you have the opportunity to work with them I highly suggest it!

BMT Promotions and Talent recognizes the importance of having a successful event every time. They understand that responsibility falls largely on the event staff that are on the front line in contact with the target market. With many years of combined experience, the team at BMT Promotions and Talent are dedicated to providing superior staffing every time. They work on a national scale providing exceptional service, staff and accountability to a diverse range of clients.
The event staff and promotional models provided by BMT Promotions and Talent all very professional and courteous to the clients and customers. They certainly uphold and project the image of and are successful in representing the brand of the client and BMT Promotions and Talent in a professional and very ethical manner.
When booked as a team member or as An On Site Manager, I have been met with professionalism and respect from all levels of the BMT Promotions and Talent corporate team. Event pay is above average, paychecks have been timely, questions answered and difficulties anticipated. I look forward to working with them again soon.

Hi there!
I have worked with numerous promotional companies and BMT is by far the best I've ever worked with. They are incredibly professional, structured, and efficient. The checks are sent out in an expedited manner and the jobs pay well. I just finished up a 3 week promo for them in Virginia and the group of people I worked with was amazing! I had a wonderful time, made good money, met lifelong friends, and worked hard. As long as you follow instructions, arrive on time (EARLY), and maintain a good rapport with the hiring staff you will enjoy many fun and memorable jobs working for this company! Best of luck :)

Hello,
I have worked with BMT on multiple occasions. It has been a pleasure each time. I worked a 3 week promotion in Virginia for BMT and I had a blast! I worked with an AWESOME group of people! Our travel, lodging, and food were covered the entire time and our paychecks came in a very timely manner.
BMT is very professional and appreciates their talent. They have very competitive pay rates. They are very clear and concise with you when booking you for a job. Matt is really cool and easy to get a hold of, especially when you have questions or issues.
Overall I have had a GREAT experience working with BMT and I look forward to more promotions with them in the future. One of my favorite companies to work for!

I just started working with BMT and had my first event Monday night. The representatives with BMT were very nice and extremely helpful. Despite the freezing weather at the Georgia Dome Monday Night, it was overall a wonderful experience and I thoroughly enjoyed working with everyone involved. Payment was received at the end of the evening. I will look forward to an opportunity to work with them again soon!

I will absolutely work for them again!

BMT RULES!!! Got a freekin pay raise on the 2nd day! And there were like 400 people workin that event! NO reason for it. They're just awesome! Seriously. I will work for BMT every time they come in town. I recommend signing up as talent on their website and they'll contact you when they're in your city. Managers are awesome. They do they're job well. They're professional, but they're cool at the same time. The boss played a rock, paper, scissors tournament with us when we had a break and gave away prizes. Like a starbucks gift certificate, a food basket, even a microwave! They give you breaks and they fed us! All 400! I don't know if it's like that at every event, but just to know that a company treats their temporary employees like full-time employees makes it all worth it. That's boss. No other company I've worked for does that. And I've worked in this business a long time. We were staff at a convention and the attendees said they recognized our staff as the best ever at that convention. BMT teaches you how to be good at your job AND have fun! no joke peeeps! I met like, really cool people, and I received my check at a decent time. Hey, money's money. I also heard, if you work with them enough – they pay for your travel and meals and other stuff. The client is like a VIP client so the sky is endless. BMT – I recommend em! Peace!

Good solid company, well-organized and a lot of fun to work for. I found them on craigslists and interviewed and got hired and did a week at a convention. Definitely worth it. Was happy to have long hours and get paid. And there's potentially more work down the line. Keep an eye on these guys, they are doing great things.

I have worked with BMT on a few occasions and every time it has been great. From beginning to end instructions were always clear. Matt is great fun to be around and very personable. His staff members are awesome and happy to help with any questions that need to be answered. All around a great company to align with, and be a part of!

Matt and his staff are Awesome! They have high standards, they pay well and get great gigs and that means you will enjoy your time while you are working with them.
UNLESS you're a slacker. Seriously, if you don't love marketing and promotions work, and you're not a team player then you probably won't like working with BMT.
Isn't that a great feature? They sort out all the people that make you work harder while you're giving your best.
It's a great combination. Keep up the work BMT.

I've been working with BMT for years. They are one of the best all-around companies out there. Not only do they pay a good amount and have great events/clients, but Matt and the staff are top of the line! I have never worked with a group of whiners, lazy people, etc when working with BMT. Other companies I have. Matt sets high standards, and is very clear in what he wants. As other have said, if you're a slacker and don't like to work, don't work, especially with BMT. I have managed events with BMT, and the staff has always been great!

Ok. I have worked for them and they are good, but I wouldn't go as far to say "the Best co. ever." Example: saw a gig for Brooklyn MI, yesterday— where they are paying BA's $15 an hour. What!?? Brooklyn MI of course is NASCAR, and it's REALLY far from any sort of human being who lives in civilization. Not paying mileage. $15 an hour? I just feel like I jumped in my DeLorean and went back to 1999 when that was a really hight rate of pay for BA's. I just feel like them and EventPro's are great co.'s sure, but don't pay as well as they could be.

Hey everyone,
Just finished working an awesome three day promo with BMT at NASCAR in Brooklyn MI. First time working for them and compared to the masses of other companies I have worked for they have definitely made my top 3! Matt Davis is awesome and was onsite the entire time offering encouragement and even gave extra incentives to the BA's; he brought food every day and gave gift cards to the top working BA's. He obviously cared about the individuals he hired and he and the other rep, Anthony, took the time to get to know us and learn our names (there was a staff of 40 for the event).
I drove 4.5 hours to work the event and booked a hotel an hour away so I could work all three days (there isn't much going on in my area – Northern Michigan). But even though their pay rate wasn't as high as some other events I have worked in the past I would rather work for them again and feel like I was part of community than working for some faceless organization. We were told that we exceeded the set out goals for the event and I'm positive that this was because the staffing agency took such a hands on involvement in the campaign. I was the team lead for 7 staff and I could feel the enthusiasm throughout the three day event. We ran like a well oiled machine run by competent and thoroughly experienced drivers. They really went above and beyond to make everyone feel needed and part of something real.
Thanks for making this past weekend so memorable for me BMT and if I don't see you before I'll see you guys in Florida for the next NASCAR event!

I've worked or BMT twice. Once at the Adult Swim/Cartoon Network Promo in Lansing and I just finished the Drive4COPD/Nascar Event this last weekend. I LOVVVVEEEEE working for BMT. All of their staff is super friendly and helpful and they give you great direction on what to do, unlike a lot of other companies that expect you to just know and then throw you into the lions den. But one of the best parts about working for them is that it's such a comfortable environment, at the end of the 3 day Drive4COPD event I left with a lot of friends that I look forward to working with again. I drove to and from Detroit (a 2.5 hr drive each way) all 3 days just so I could participate in this event, I would do that if I didn't love the experience.
Thank you to Matt, Anthony, Kyle, all of my fellow ambassadors and everyone else involved, you guys made it a great event, it was definitely the highlight of my summer!

Quick question:
When you receive your check from BMT, do they already take the taxes out for you, or do they leave that up to you?

If you work an event for BMT, you will most likely be an independent contractor. You will receive a 1099 at the beginning of the following year if you earn over $600.00 in that calendar year.
