Job Description
Wanted: Three females to work as Driver/Demonstrator/Tour Coordinators for upcoming Mobile Marketing Tour. Training begins mid-March for a 6-month national tour. Prior experience working for several months at a time on a mobile tour is mandatory.

Preliminary interviews will be conducted on SnapYap. Please state in your cover letter if you have access to a webcam.

Position Overview:

Three females will be assigned to this tour; rotating positions as driver/demonstrator/coordinator. Each will work on a full-time basis; two will travel together as driver/demonstrators on a customized 38’ Winnebago and one will work in our Boston office as tour coordinator.

You will help conduct a successful 6-month, national road tour focused on the importance of prevention, early detection and treatment of skin cancer. Free, dermatologist-provided skin cancer screenings will be available at most events, along with educational information and sun care protection product sampling. Informational brochures will be distributed to the general public, and demonstration activities focused on self-examinations will be conducted.

All responsibilities on the road will be shared equally between the road team. Experience driving a large vehicle is required and fluency in Spanish is preferred. Duties include (but are not limited to) the following:

➢ Greet the public, schedule screenings and generate an overall awareness of the importance of sun protection and screenings. (Note: medical personnel will conduct the screenings, however, you may be requested to assist the doctor with paperwork or be present at a screening.)
➢ Maintain inventory and report to management as needed.
➢ Restock inventory and clean up event areas (inside and out) at the conclusion of the event.
➢ Greet any press or special visitors previously identified by the PR teams and/or host location manager. Introduce them to physicians, sponsors, location management or other tour / PR teams and provide assistance as needed. If no medical or PR representatives are available, be prepared to answer “non-medical” questions about the tour and provide guests with a press kit.
➢ Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge of partner/sponsor’s sun protection products by educating consumers and training necessary host location employees.
➢ Present a positive, professional and engaging manner to the public and personnel working at the host locations. Driver/Demonstrators must be comfortable working with the public and deliver quality customer service at all times.

➢ Research and reserve lodging along tour route, staying within per diem guidelines.
➢ Coordinate driving logistics along tour route.
➢ Submit detailed event reports and photos to management following each event.

Tour Coordinator:
➢ Communicate with road team on a daily basis to ensure the events are executed according to exepectations.
➢ Conduct weekly teleconference with road team and in-office management.
➢ When necessary, research, secure and coordinate tour stops.
➢ Maintain detailed route schedule and logistical information.
➢ Communicate with host location personnel to ensure event awareness and that advanced preparations are in place.
➢ Manage incoming reports, photos and records from road team.
➢ Schedule routine vehicle maintence services.
➢ Manage a large degree of detailed information in an organized and professional manner.
➢ Ensure smooth communication between in-office management and road team.
➢ Maintain inventory list and ship supplies to road team as needed.

Requirements:
Qualifications: • An exemplary driving record and prior experience of at least two years as brand ambassador on a mobile marketing tour is required. Experience driving a 38’ Winnebago (or similarly sized vehicle), along with experience driving 6-8+ hours a day is needed. These include strong organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail, resourcefulness, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to operate with “grace under pressure.” Must be flexible and able to react to changes as they occur and work within budgetary guidelines. • Present a professional, positive and engaging manner to the public and associates at event locations. Must be poised, articulate and comfortable speaking to the public. Dress in tour-specified apparel at all events and ensure that uniforms are clean, spot-and wrinkle-free. • Proven track record of punctuality, reliability and accountability. • Be a committed, team player, doing whatever is needed to get the job done well and exceed client expectations. • Computer skills required to maintain tour records (e.g. Microsoft word and excel) and upload photos. If preparing tour journals or blogs, strong writing skills are a plus. Event photos must also be taken to document the tour and downloaded for future use. • Each person must posess, and demonstrate, the ability to interact with teammates and tour personnel in a respectful, calm and reasonable manner. They must posess the skills and ability to negotiate a compromise or solution to any problem that may occur on the road, 24/7. • Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred.
